We spent several days in the breathtaking alpine town of Chamonix, France, capturing content with Josh Patterson in the lead-up to and during a Strava trail running event. Known for its dramatic mountain scenery and vibrant outdoor culture, Chamonix provided the perfect backdrop for a project rooted in endurance, connection, and community.

Before the main event, we explored the surrounding trails and town, creating personal content for Josh that reflected both his relationship with the sport and the stunning natural environment. From early morning runs to quiet moments in the valley, our goal was to authentically capture the spirit of trail running and the mindset behind it.

The main event—a 10km trail run through the mountains—brought together runners from across the world, finishing with a celebratory party in the evening that honoured the sense of camaraderie within the trail community. Through photography and video, we documented not just the physical challenge, but the atmosphere, energy, and beauty that make Chamonix such an iconic destination for runners.
